The Adventure Dock Co to create 20 new jobs at Liverpool’s first water park

Water sports specialists, Industry Wake, are on the hunt for employees for their latest venture, with The Adventure Dock Co set to create 20 new jobs at Liverpool’s newest Waterfront attraction.

Coming to Duke’s Dock on Liverpool’s iconic Waterfront, Adventure Dock will operate throughout the summer months from May to October. To help manage the 92-metre floating assault course, the Adventure Dock team are looking for both full-time and part-time qualified lifeguards, who will be able to work both on and off the water.

Potential new recruits will need excellent team working skills, as well as a pool/beach lifeguard qualification (NPLQ/NBLQ) and experience in previous customer facing roles.

As well as this, desired skills and qualifications include first aid training, a DBS certificate and a safeguarding certificate.

Tim Woodhead, creator of The Adventure Dock, said:

“We are looking to recruit approx. 20 fun-loving but enthusiastic people to work as aqua guides this summer. For anyone who loves water, likes being active and is looking for a job that goes beyond the 9-5, this could be the perfect opportunity.”

We are currently a small but dedicated team and we want to make some life-long memories for both the customers and the staff. We are already busy with enquiries so we would love to hear from anyone who is up for the challenge to get the summer started now.”

As well as lifeguard work, Adventure Dock are also creating opportunities for long-term, full-time employment within the company, with admin and planning jobs also available throughout the off-season.

To register your interest, send your CV to hello, with interviews taking place during the week commencing 12 March. Those currently working abroad will also be able to complete their interviews via Skype or conference call.
