Shortlist for the Liverpool City Region Tourism Award’s – People’s Choice Award

People’s Choice Award

The Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards has announced its shortlist for the People’s Choice Award, selecting the top 10 businesses as voted for by the general public.

An open call out was given to people across the region to vote for their favourite tourism business and the selection has been narrowed down to those that received the most votes.

Pete Sandman, Head of Visitor Economy at the Liverpool City Region LEP said: “We were overwhelmed with the response to the vote and the appreciation people feel for all of the nominated businesses. There is a real cross section of businesses selected, from visitor attractions and experiences to restaurants and hotels. This is a great opportunity for people to reward the region’s tourism stars.”

The vote will now re-open to secure the accolade for the preferred nominee.

The shortlisted businesses are:

  • Caffe Cream
  • Daniel Adamson
  • Knowsley Safari
  • Magical Mystery Tour
  • Malmaison Liverpool
  • Ramada Plaza Southport
  • The Beatles Story
  • The Club House

The winner will be announced alongside 14 other categories at the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards ceremony on Thursday, 24 May at St George’s Hall. This is the only category voted for by the public – recognising tourism businesses achieving excellence across the Liverpool City Region.
