The Adventure Dock Co welcomes huge crowds throughout opening two weeks

Liverpool’s newest summer attraction, The Adventure Dock Co, has announced that it has welcomed over 1,000 visitors to the brand new 92-metre inflatable water park since its grand opening on the 5th May.

Having completely sold-out throughout the opening weekend and with the summer holidays on the horizon, the attraction is now also looking to add to its 15-strong workforce, in preparation for the high demand in July.

After receiving funding from the Employment and Skills Team at Liverpool City Region Combined Authority to train its workforce earlier in the summer, the Adventure Dock is now searching for more lifeguards with NPLQ/NBLQ qualifications, first aid training and safeguarding certificates to work on site.

Tim Woodhead, creator of The Adventure Dock, said: “To welcome over 1,000 visitors in just two weeks is testament to the people of Liverpool, who have come out in their droves to try out Adventure Dock. To sell-out our opening weekend shows the true potential of an offer like this and we are now preparing for what is expected to be a very busy summer.

“We have been flooded with requests for birthday parties and group bookings, which is fantastic and we definitely encourage that all visitors book their tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.”

The attraction has also announced that its weekday opening hours will now be 1pm to 7:30pm, allowing students and professionals alike the opportunity to visit the attraction in the evening, after school and work.

Currently open for those eight years and above, Adventure Dock will also be announcing summer ‘splash events’ in the upcoming weeks, allowing those aged between six and twelve the chance to experience the course.

Adventure Dock will operate throughout the summer months until October 28. Tickets start from £20 or £18 for groups of four or more.
